Hi! I am Ms. Jodi Diaz and I am so excited to begin my ninth year at Florence Township Memorial High School.  This year I will teach English as a Second Language (ESL), AP Spanish Language and Culture, Honors Spanish 3, and CP Spanish 2.  I am also the advisor for the Cultural Awareness for Everyone (CAFE) Club and previously taught in Bogota, Colombia and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I have four children (one college graduate, a college Senior, a college Freshman, and a Junior in high school) and two dogs.  I have a  Master of Science in Forensic Science (I'm a former federal law enforcement officer) and a Master of Education with teaching certifications in English as a Second Language, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and Spanish. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to getting to know my students and their families and guiding the students' development of their proficiency in the English/Spanish language.
