Hi! I am Ms. Jodi Diaz and I am so excited to begin my eighth year at Florence Township Memorial High School.  This year I will teach English as a Second Language (ESL), AP Spanish Language and Culture, Honors Spanish 3, and CP Spanish 2.  I am also the advisor for the Cultural Awareness for Everyone (CAFE) Club and previously taught in Bogota, Colombia and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I have four children (one college graduate, one in his junior year of college and a Senior and Sophomore in high school) who keep me very busy with their academic and athletic schedules.  I have a  Master of Science in Forensic Science (I'm a former federal law enforcement officer) and a Master of Education with teahing certifications in English as a Second Language, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and Spanish. I also teach Adult ESL classes at RCBC. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to getting to know my students and their families and guiding the students' development of their proficiency in the English/Spanish language.
