1. The Flipkart APM Workshop
APM Program & PM-ing Overview: The application process for Flipkart’s APM program begins with a pre-placement talk, held on select campuses by a product leader at Flipkart. The idea is to help candidates understand more about Flipkart’s APM program and Product Management in general.
Case-solving Workshop: The session will be followed by a case-solving workshop, where a current APM walks the group through a product case and the approach one can follow to solve it.
2. The Case Study Round
Case-study Release: Post the workshop, Flipkart will release its problem statement for the year and candidates are required to submit a case study on the same. The specifics of this round will be communicated along with the problem statement by the respective campus placement teams.
3. The Buddy Program
Interview Shortlist Release: The final interview shortlist will be released based on the case study submitted by the candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated of their selection via their campus placement representatives.
Buddy Process: Every candidate that moves forward will be allotted an APM buddy. Buddies will provide 1-1 mentoring and guide candidates in their preparation by conducting mock product case interviews with them, redirecting them towards the right resources and answering any questions they may have about the process.
Note: This step is designed only to help candidates prepare better for the final interviews and is not evaluative in nature.
5. The Campus Interview Round
All candidates that move past the case study round will be called for the final round of interviews.
Interviews are designed to test the following in candidates:
Problem Solving
Product Thinking
Culture Fit
You can refer to these resources to prepare for the interviews. Best of Luck!
