Flipkart's Associate Product Management program is the first and only one of its kind in the country that enables APMs to graduate into the PM role at Flipkart which would otherwise require a combination of relevant work experience and MBA.
The APM program consists of two 1-year rotations in different product teams at Flipkart, which exposes you to the broad disciplines of product development, engineering and business. The high learning curve offered by the projects is complemented with business and design bootcamps, monthly seminars and 1:1 mentorship by the senior leaders at Flipkart.
High Ownership
APMs get to own entire projects rather than assisting senior PMs at the company. APMs are expected to independently solve problems at scale and drive significant impact.
Community
Flipkart APMs batches are some of smartest individuals in country, from various backgrounds and are highly interactive and collaborative in their work as well as life.
Strong Mentorship
At Flipkart, you interact with strongest product leaders in the entire country who accelerate your learnings.
APMs have individual sessions with your assigned mentors and group learning modules targeted at specific skills which are taken by in-house experts.

APM1 Team : Growth Hacks & Cart/Checkout
My first rotation was a crash course in product-led growth on a team called Growth Hacks. I ran 15+ rapid experiments across Flipkart’s core funnel, driving measurable impact on conversions and repeat purchases, all without relying on discounts or marketing spend. This was achieved by focusing on improving value communication, reducing friction, and creating urgency to influence user behavior. I also contributed to the Cart/Checkout team by launching features that improved deal visibility.
This experience taught me to deeply understand users’ perspectives and move fast through structured A/B testing. With access to feedback at a massive scale, I learned how to quickly validate hypotheses, iterate based on user data, and deliver features that provides impact.

APM1 Team : Recommerce
As an APM 1 at Flipkart, I worked in the Recommerce team, managing Flipkart Reset for Business—a B2B app for selling refurbished phones and electronics—and the Liquidation charter, which drives systems to sell excess warehouse inventory. Initially, these seemed like small charters, but owning them end-to-end gave me invaluable experience.
I directly engaged with senior stakeholders, including SVPs and VPs, and was responsible for execution planning from the product side. Since liquidation systems are critical for scaling Minutes, I gained exposure to high-level decision-making and collaborated with tenured PMs across WMS and accounting. With Reset for Business, I managed a full e-commerce app, leading its revamp and integrating a third-party BNPL solution, which strengthened my product thinking and user research skills.

APM1 Team : Pricing
My first rotation in the Pricing team was nothing short of transformative. I owned the Competitive Pricing Charter, enhancing our automated pricing capabilities to drive stronger price perception and positioning Flipkart as the go-to value platform. Additionally, I also built competitive pricing for Flipkart Minutes, our quick commerce channel, building it from the ground up. The experience of leading such high-impact, strategic initiatives so early in my career was invaluable.
The Flipkart APM program is everything it promises to be and more. It not only provides significant responsibility and learning but also stitches mentorship into the journey seamlessly. From case study sessions to game nights with senior product leaders, the program has been the perfect blend of personal growth, professional challenge, and a whole lot of fun.

PM1 Team : Homepage
My current stint is in the Top of the Funnel team where I am looking over the Flipkart homepage.
I am owning various initiatives towards driving more conversion and engagement on the app. Since homepage is the face of the app and every decision impacts the entire organisation, this truly makes me realise the scale that Flipkart PMs work at.
Working with cross-functional teams gives me a good understanding of other domains like tech, design, analytics and business teams while keeping the user’s interest as North Star.
