Hello there! my name is Mohammed Sillah and welcome to my E-portfolio. I am a Muslim African-American, I was born and raised in New York City. I lived in The Bronx for the majority of my life. In 2009, when I was 11 years old, I moved to West Africa and lived there for 5 years. During those 5 years I witnessed people experience the lowest forms of poverty, and realized I was taking the opportunities and resources offered to me in America for granted. The experience instilled in me a motive and eagerness to help change the circumstances my people are living in. From that moment onward I promised myself that I will attack my goals with a ferocity to ensure I will achieve my goal.
