Introduction: Welcome! The 25-26 school year will be my eighteenth year of teaching! 13 of those years have been in the Forest Lake School District. I have worked at Wyoming Elementary as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher, and at Scandia Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher. Before working in this district, I also taught 3rd grade for five years at St. Croix Preparatory Academy in Stillwater.
Education: In 2007, received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. I also played on their women's golf team. I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction at St. Cloud State University in 2018.
Family Life: I live in Forest Lake with my husband Brad, our wonderful 10 year old daughter Cora (who is a 5th grader at Scandia this year), and mini Australian shepherd dog Karlee. Together we enjoy spending time on the pontoon, at the cabin, golfing, camping, hiking, and traveling. We have visited Florida, Alaska, Montana, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Idaho together. I also enjoy reading and cooking for my family and friends.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year. I am delighted to be a part of your child's education!
Brad, Cora, and I spent a lot of time on the lake this summer. Here we are in Lake Vermilion.
In 2021, we purchased a cabin on Lake Vermilion. Cora loves to catch fish just outside of our cabin!
A few beautiful moments by our cabin! Lots of summer fun!
Our family loves to ride on the pontoon!
We live on Forest Lake in the house I grew up in as a child. We have recently started snowmobiling on the lake and trails!
St. Cloud State graduation in 2018.
Our dog Karlee, who is usually found napping somewhere when she's not chasing the squirrels and bunnies from our yard.
We took an amazing trip to Alaska in the summer of 2025. We did lots of hiking and fishing!
