TEACHERS' DAY : 5TH SEPTEMBER '25
For Teacher’s Day at Balbhavan, children created handmade cards to express their gratitude for their teachers. With the help of volunteers, they used bright colors, drawings and heartfelt messages to make each card special. The volunteers also spoke to the children about the importance of teachers and the meaning of Teacher’s Day. The celebration concluded with teachers receiving the cards along with flowers and chocolates, leaving everyone smiling and deeply touched.
GANESH CHATURTHI : 9TH SEPTEMBER '25
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, children from Balbhavan took part in a series of festive and educational activities. The event began with an animated film that introduced them to the story and significance of Lord Ganesha. This was followed by a coloring activity where the children expressed their creativity through coloring pre-drawn Lord Ganeshas. The celebration concluded with a lively dance session, creating an atmosphere of joy, togetherness, and cultural learning.
NAVRATRI UTSAV - TSP X FDC : 23RD SEPTEMBER '25
The Story Project and Project Impact organized a Navratri Utsav in collaboration with the FLAME Dance Club, bringing together children from Balbhavan and the university’s female maintenance staff. The event began with a short introduction to the cultural significance of Navratri. This was followed by an inclusive and fun Garba workshop led by the Dance Club, encouraging everyone to participate. The celebration concluded with snacks and informal interaction, fostering a sense of joy, unity, and cultural appreciation.
FUN WITH LEARNING - TSP X FB&C : 3RD OCTOBER '25
The FLAME Business and Consulting Club, in collaboration with The Story Project, spent a fun and engaging morning with children at Bal Bhavan. The session included creative activities like sponge painting, ladyfinger printing and origami, blending art with basic learning skills. Through these hands-on activities, children explored colors, patterns and paper folding. The workshop encouraged creativity, focus, and joyful learning throughout the session.
FUN YOGA SESSION - TSP X FYC : 10TH OCTOBER '25
In collaboration with the FLAME Yoga Club, The Story Project conducted a calming and interactive yoga session for the children of Balbhavan at Kalidas, FLAME University. The children were guided through basic yoga asanas that helped build balance, flexibility, and body awareness. The session concluded with Om chanting and Shavasana, creating a sense of calm and relaxation. The children participated with enthusiasm, making it a joyful and enriching experience for all.
FUN DIYA PAINTING - TSP X FAC : 31ST OCTOBER '25
To celebrate Diwali, The Story Project along with Flame Art Club organized a Diya Painting activity for the children of Balbhavan, combining creativity with cultural learning. Each child decorated a clay diya using vibrant colors and patterns. The activity helped children connect with the spirit and traditions of Diwali in a fun, hands-on way. The celebration concluded with the distribution of Diwali gift kits, bringing smiles to everyone involved.
RAJIV GANDHI ZOO VISIT : 6TH NOVEMBER '25
The Story Project organized a visit to the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park in Pune to give the children of Balbhavan a fun and educational experience in nature. The children explored the zoo and saw animals such as tigers, lions, elephants, and reptiles, learning interesting facts along the way. The visit sparked curiosity and excitement while encouraging appreciation for wildlife and the environment. The day ended with refreshments and happy memories of an enriching outing.
ANIMAL SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP - TSP X AWC : 7TH NOVEMBER '25
An Animal Sensitisation Workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Animal Welfare Committee (AWC) for the children of Balbhavan to encourage empathy and awareness towards animals. Through stories, visuals, and interactive activities, the children learned about animal behaviour, care, and coexistence. The workshop concluded with a drawing activity where children expressed their love for animals and shared ways to protect them.
SPORTS DAY - TSP X FRC X FHC : 20TH NOVEMBER '25
A Sports Day was organized in collaboration with the Run Club and Handball Club to promote physical activity and teamwork among the children. The event included warm-up exercises followed by fun games such as hurdle races and relay races. The children participated enthusiastically, cheering for each other and displaying great sportsmanship. The day ended on an energetic and joyful note, leaving everyone refreshed and happy.
