About Us

Graduating "Good Humans" Since 1964!

Troy High School’s Theatre Arts Program was established by Thomas Moore in 1964 when Troy first opened its doors.  Mr. Joe Hufferd, the current theatre instructor at Troy, is an alumnus who had the privilege to learn under Moore. It is his goal to share his passion for theatre with all of his students at Troy.

With five full classes of theatre students, Troy’s Theatre Program is currently the largest in the district.

Putting on three student-crafted productions a year (two plays and one musical), Troy’s Theatre Arts students learn to build, paint, design, and perform.

Students leave the program with not only an appreciation for the arts, but an experience that teaches respect for yourself and others, both onstage and off.
