Interview Information

The interviews will be held in person.
Once we have received your application we will reach out to schedule an interview with you.
- Local junior high interviews will take place at the junior high, see below for information on dates and times.
- We will reach out if we need to schedule an interview and you do not attend one of our local junior high schools.
Interviews are held by a member of the AVID team of the school you are attending.
Normally the interview will be around 10 minutes.
We will use the interview to get to know your students, and discuss their classes for next year.
This is not intended to be stressful, it is a tool to help us get to know our students, see if the AVID program will be a good fit for them in high school, and try to find the best placement of classes to start their year.
