Learning Center Staff

Our Adult Learning Center staff is available throughout the week, all year.  While we are not currently accepting walk-ins, we can schedule an initial meeting and then get you set up with the appropriate teacher who will work with you with some of our many online and Zoom options, as well as share with you many printed study materials.  Meet our capable staff:

Heather Corson

has a degree in International Affairs in Political Science and Spanish and an M.A.T in Secondary Education. She teaches Spanish at Camden Hills Regional High School, and has previous experience teaching K-12 English language learners in Ecuador and South Korea. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level Reading/Writing and ESOL.

David Doubleday

was a long-time teacher in the English Department at Camden Hills Regional High School. He recently retired and has joined our team as Academic Coordinator to help direct students to appropriate pathways.

Peg Junge

has a degree in business and math, with numerous years of experience working with adults at RSU13 and MCST. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level math and digital literacy.

Brenda Hio-Hamdan

has a degree in English and writing. She recently moved to Maine and has experience working with adults at RSU13. She is ready for all HiSET subjects, plus college-level Reading/Writing.
