MIDTERM
Working with Raw Files:
Process Raw Files
You’ll get a few raw files, and you’ll need to make some adjustments in Camera Raw.
Stuff like fixing the white balance, adjusting recovery, exposure, etc.
Then you’ll need to save the image from Camera Raw/ Lightroom as photoshop document with a specific colorspace
(eg AdobeRGB(1998)), size, and bit depth (eg 8bit). You can do this via LR or via camera raw in PS.
save this as lastname_firstname_01
save this as lastname_firstname_02
save this as lastname_firstname_03
Working in Photoshop:
Open the file you just worked on and make the image black and white with an adjustment layer. Mask out part of the image so one object is in color.
Compositing
Open a new image (I will give you) as the background, add a second file (I'll give you this too) as a new layer in one photoshop document.
Make sure you name you layers
This means your adjustment layers have names describing what they're doing and to which part of the image This means your pixel layers have descriptive names.
Mask Pixel Layers
You’ll need to use a layer mask to hide part of a layer or layers. You'll need to figure out if using a brush, or some other selection method will work most effectively.
Make Adjustment Layers
You’ll need to make a curves layers to do some stuff. Things like exposure and color adjustment. You’ll have to use a layer mask (like we did when you made one part of the image black and white and when we did dodging and burning with curves).
