You will come in and setup tethered capture with your computer and your camera (if your camera doesn’t tether then get one from the cage)
For this part you will be graded on
Do the following
-Set up the camera and computer so that it shoots tethered
-Set it up with correct naming conventions (department standard with the “session name”)
-Set it up so that your images will automatically get metadata (at least the basics of your info etc)
-Set it up so the images go to a folder that is named logically (“raw" in a folder named "midterm”)
Set up your flash to TTL and make 3 images all with the same ISO, Shutter Speed, And Aperture
-one where the subject and the background are evenly lit and I can clearly see both
-one where the subject is well lit and the background is dark (meter for the background to be dark and control your flash)
-one where the subject is well lit and the background is bright (meter for the background to be bright and then control your flash)
Show me how to use the quick develop module
Export 3 images as AdobeRGB 1998, JPEG, 3000 pixels on the widest side. Name them Lastname_Firstname_midterm_01.jpg etc, Put them in a folder named lastname_firstname in the "midterm" folder on the drive
Practice practice practice on your laptop!
