At Fishy’s Friends Rescue, our passion lies in helping homeless dogs, and we wholeheartedly support any cause you choose to champion.

Our Focus and Mission

We focus on helping homeless/Stray dogs (ONLY) find their forever homes, but we’re here to guide and support you in finding the perfect new home for your pet. We also believe in uplifting our community by providing resources, guidance, and support to pet parents who have fallen on hard times. Instead of focusing on what we can’t do, we want to share everything we CAN DO to make a difference:

• 100% of the time, we take in homeless dogs if we have an open foster home. If you OR someone you know can Foster PLEASE APPLY

• Provide comprehensive guides, advice, and resources to help struggling pet parents regain confidence and care for their animals.

• Empower the community to be part of the solution, whether by fostering, volunteering, or spreading the word.

Fostering: Be the Bridge to a Second Chance

If you find a stray and want to be part of their journey to a better life, fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to help. Here’s how fostering works with Fishy’s Friends:

• What We Provide:

  • All rescue vet care, including sterilization, vaccines, prevention, and health testing.

  • Foster supplies, including food, bedding, crates, and toys.

• What You Provide:

  • Love, patience, and a safe space for the dog to thrive.

  • Transport to vet appointments as needed.

  • Communication with the rescue to ensure the dog’s needs are met.

Encourage your friends and family to foster too! Every open foster home means another life saved. We have a thorough screening process for all fosters and adopters to ensure our animals find the best possible homes.

Volunteer: Join Team Fishy

Many hands make light work, and your time and talents can make a huge difference in our mission. Nonprofits often face burnout due to being understaffed, but we’re building an empire of prompt, dedicated, and efficient volunteers. Here’s how you can help:
