Gameplay

A battle usually takes place in a whole star system with several planets. One of the biggest challenges to master is the many planetary gravity forces that affect shots and movement.

Each planet has its own size and mass. So no gravity is the same, and even experienced Mavericks have a hard time predicting their shots and movements.

Be careful! If a planet is heavily damaged, it can explode, blasting asteroids all over the battlefield.

One thing about Space travel is that is very difficult to dispel heat. When heat is accumulated, it may cause damage and restrict your actions.

How well you will handle the heat will depend on your spaceship and management skills.

Aiming is required to move or shoot in Space Mavericks, and like all artilleries games, players can achieve that by adjusting the angle and power. Then, a trajectory projection is shown, determining where you will move or hit your shot.

An essential technique to master is your defense. Each spaceship has a special shield. Timing is of the essence when using it. Use it too late or too early, and you will take damage!

When the battle begins, only the basic shot is available. Those who are brave enough to engage in battles and cause damage to the enemies will level up their Spaceship and unlock the compound shot and specials.

The most valuable thing for a Maverick is to survive! If you can't be one of the survivals, you won't be able to take any spoils of the war with you. So make sure to be on the top!
