I trust all is well this beautiful weekend!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK

*Students put their self-control skills on HIGH and earned a bubblegum party! Congrats to Coco for blowing a "double bubble"! These students continue to cheer each other on - what a kind bunch of humans!

*We had 2 escapees on Friday! Our caterpillars, Sparkles and Leo, snuck out of their containers! Luckily, both were found. I think they were trying to tell me they wanted to be out in nature, so I re-homed them to my milkweed patch. We still wait for 5 chrysalises to show their stuff! Won't be long now!

FOCUS FOR THE WEEK AHEAD

Monday:

We are planning a day of celebration as we honor our newest Catholic Saints; St.Carlo Acutis, and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati!

*Students will be praying at our COUNTDOWN TO CANONIZATION wall, watching videos of the saints' lives, participating in activities that these saints enjoyed (nature walks, games, prayer), creating art and special writing for the day, and a special gift for each child! A special THANK YOU to those parents who signed up to bring in a snack to help celebrate the day!

*For you early risers, Vatican Canonization is LIVE, starting at 4:00 a.m. Sunday!

Highlights will be shown in class!

*In Celebration of this canonization, Monday will be a special out of uniform day.  You may wear out of uniform bottoms if you chose to wear a Red shirt celebrating Carlo or a Green shirt celebrating Pier.  Normal out of uniform rules apply. 

Tuesday:

*Math MAP testing is Tuesday next week.

*Early to bed and a healthy breakfast helps with concentration!
