A LITTLE ABOUT ME    

A Little About Me

I'm fortunate to have had a variety of teaching experiences which have shaped how I view my role as an educator. My 14 years of teaching in the public schools in music, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, as well as my 12 years as a homeschooling parent were all unique and showed me a variety of perspectives.

I returned to the classroom recently and am excited to be teaching first grade at St. Mike's...this is my 4th year as a Defender!

My husband, Joe, and I have been married for 40 years and have two grown children...Story and Sam. My favorite days are when they are both back home to visit!

I enjoy playing the flute and penny whistle, cooking, gardening, reading, and long walks!
