High Desert Pride Center and Victor Valley College Pride Center Announce their - Pride Prom: An Intergenerational Event
VICTORVILLE, CA — The High Desert Pride Center is proud to announce Pride Prom: An Intergenerational Event. This landmark celebration will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the VVC Educational Event Center.
Designed as a bridge between generations, the Pride Prom offers a festive, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies of all ages to come together. This event is free to attend, ensuring that all members of the community can experience a night of music, performance, and connection without barriers.
The evening features a high-energy atmosphere with DJ Ruffnek spinning beats throughout the night. Guests will enjoy live drag performances, a fully catered dinner, and two distinct photo booth opportunities to capture the evening’s memories.
While admission is free, organizers suggest making a donation to support the event. These contributions are vital to ensuring the centers can continue offering high-quality community programming at free or very low cost in the future. As an added incentive, a $10 donation will enter guests into a special raffle featuring prizes from local supporters.
"This event is about more than just dancing; it’s about visibility and connection," said event organizers. "By bringing together students from Victor Valley College with the broader High Desert community, we are fostering a legacy of support and pride that spans generations."
