Who we are

Helen has nearly 40 years experience in the accounting field and is a Fellow Member of the AAT, she passed her AAT qualification in 1991, becoming one of the early members. Helen founded her first accountancy business in 1992 and has been running a business ever since, forming Figures 4U in 2003, operating it solo for almost 20 years. 

Helen is licensed to practice by the AAT and Xero advisor certified. She attends regular training sessions with the AAT and other organisations to keep up to date with all the changes in the business and tax world.  Helen works with various software packages, originally starting with Sage and migrating to Xero, VT and Limebooks in more recent times. 

 Helen brings leadership skills, strategic management, customer relations, network of contacts, business management, and many years of accounting and life experience to the team.  

 When not at her desk, Helen enjoys gardening, walking the dog, venturing off in her campervan and exploring the beautiful coastlines of the UK!  

Zoe joined Figures4U in March 2021 and recently celebrated 5 years working in practice. Prior to this Zoe, worked as an accountant in industry at Triumph Motorcycles UK headquarters. She is a full member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), having gained her Professional Diploma in Accounting in 2019. She has also completed the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, is Xero advisor certified and has a diploma in payroll. She holds a licence to practice with the AAT. Since joining Figures4U Zoe has acquired further experience and skills working with a wide range of small businesses, charities and individuals offering various accountancy and taxation services.

Zoe brings organisational skills, spreadsheet knowledge, technical expertise, and accounting systems knowledge to the team.

Outside of work Zoe enjoys listening to audiobooks, baking, and spending time making memories with her little family and dog.

Fi joined Figures4U in February 2023, after working in education for over 10 years. She has an A level in Accountancy, is Xero advisor certified and has a diploma in payroll. In her previous job she built a database from scratch using extensive spreadsheet knowledge. She will be seeking further qualifications in the future. 

Fi has a love of technology, which is utilised to its fullest extent within the team, solving day to day IT issues and enabling the work to continue smoothly.

She brings computer skills, spreadsheet experience, systems knowledge and out of the box thinking to the team! 

Fi enjoys watching ice hockey or cricket, getting out running in the countryside and gaming in her spare time.
