My name is Chad Christianson. This is my first year at KMS. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Education with a minor in Physics. I started my career teaching mathematics at Evansville Public School (now Brandon /Evansville Public School) and then accepted a position at Hancock Public School teaching mathematics where I taught everything from seventh grade math to College in the Schools math. While at Hancock I completed my Master's in Education through Southwest Minnesota State University and my Educational Administration and Superintendent Licensure through Saint Mary's University. During my time at Hancock I transitioned into the administrative roles of Activities Director and Dean of Students.
My wife Ashley and I have been married for 21 years. She is a kindergarten teacher at Hancock Public School. We have three daughters, Kaylynn, Kendra, and Makenna. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching extracurricular activities, and being outdoors hunting and fishing.
