Focus: Mental health support, family connection, and barriers to learning

Services include:

• Individual counseling for mental health, coping, attendance, or behavior concerns

• Support groups (stress, anxiety, healthy relationships, grief, etc.)

• Crisis response & safety planning

• Attendance support and home communication

• Connections to community resources:

  • Mental health providers

  • Housing & financial support services

  • Substance-use resources

  • Medical or basic-needs assistance

• Advocacy for students navigating challenges inside or outside of school

Students, families, and staff may connect with the counselor or social worker by:

• Student self-referral 

• Teacher or staff referral

• Parent/guardian request

• Administrative support referral

Support may be short-term or ongoing depending on need.
