Hi there. I'm Ms. DeLibero.
There are a couple of things you should know about me right up front. First, I am lucky enough to have my dream job. It is no accident that I am a teacher; this is exactly where I want to be. Second, I will mess up. Whatever that looks like, I will ask for your grace, and I will try again. I can't promise to be perfect, but I do promise to try my best to help you be your best. Third, I think that every person needs to be a good speaker or a good writer -- those few that can be both are truly lucky. If you can't speak your ideas or you can't write your ideas, how will anyone know or care what you are thinking? So, if you haven't yet, now is the time to find your voice. The world needs your voice.
So, let's go. There are books to read, poems to contemplate, thoughts to write, and so very many things to learn, to discuss, to discover.
"One glance at a book and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for 1,000 years.
To read is to voyage through time." --Carl Sagan
Here I am with my daughter, a high school senior. (:
This is my son Simon (college senior at PLU -- Go, Lutes!); Below is Link, the only one of the three that hardly ever gets irritated with me.
