CWU in the High School (CiHS) courses are taught at Fife High School by highly qualified staff who have been approved as adjunct teachers by Central Washington University (CWU). Students who are seeking an opportunity to earn 4-year university college credit while challenging themselves with college-level work, should consider enrolling in a CiHS course. The advantages of the CiHS program are:
Courses are taught by FHS faculty, on the FHS schedule
Parents can continue communication with FHS teachers
Students have access to CWU resources
Credits earned through this program are highly transferrable
Students who plan to attend CWU can request an application fee waiver and can receive a $500 scholarship! Checkout this website.

Registration Steps
Register and enroll in eligible course
If necessary, take the Accuplacer test for Math courses. Pay for the Accuplacer test with the FHS bookkeeper. If you are on Free/Reduced Lunch, your Accuplacer test is free but you still need to register for the test(s).

Manage CWU communication through MyCWU account
Once enrolled, you will receive a MyCWU account. You will need to check your account regularly for grades, withdraw policies if necessary, payment, and requesting transcripts.
CWU Withdrawal Policies can be found at https://www.cwu.edu/college-hs/withdrawal-policy-and-deadlines. Withdrawals from a course are managed through CWU.
