Save The Town is a game about saving and building up a town that is in poverty. The townies need your help and that's why you were sent in, to bring more opportunities to the people. It is a simulation style of game that also has some choice based pop-ups. You are in a 3rd person point of view, but are in a free fly mode (You are not stuck to your character).
You start off with a town that is in poverty. Not enough job opportunities around, high rate of crime, not enough houses (nor high-quality). Your job is to get the population out of poverty by improving the town! You can upgrade and add more buildings. As well as make more safe and large neighborhoods for families to enjoy.
In my mood board it shows the style and point of view of how my game would be designed if it were to be real in the top left hand corner. In the top right hand corner is how the characters would look...they would be simple designs, so the city stands out. There is a picture of a tsunami as depending on where your city is the villain in the game is the natural disasters that will damage your town.
The people in the game and your character will be simple designs. When you join the game you would customize your character. They are also faceless and wear business-casual or all the way to formal clothes.
The villain in my game would be the natural disasters. It would be fully random when they come and will depend on the location of where your town is. If you are near a beach you'll have the chance of a tsunami and hurricanes. Though tornados, fires, earthquakes, and more will happen anywhere.
The setting of the town will really depend on how you decide to organize and rebuild it. Though you will have a free camera, so you can look around at any point of view. This image would be a side point of view of a beginning town. The buildings are cracked and crammed together, and there are older, run down houses.
