Disbolsting

Our game Disbolsting is a game about segregation and the LGBT community. It's genre is an Adventure game, and it's sub genre is a visual novel, it's also first person. This game you go through life as a black or LGBT community person. You will have hard choices to make through out the day. We chose this because people that are black or apart of the LGBT community have a harder time going through life and being equal with everyone. If we got rid of this problem there would be more peace and pride for these people. They go through discrimination every single day and they will get depressed and angry from this. So you will go through as whoever you pick and go through the hard times they go through.

Main Quest Story Line

In our game Disbolsting, the main quest is to accept yourself and try to get other people to accept you for who you are or move on without them. People won't accept you for who you are, depending on how much you like the character you can choose to try and get them to accept you or to just deal with it and go on with life without them. Some of them will not be able to accept you sadly and will just hurt you even more. But if you do choose the African American you will deal with more physical fights.

Gameplay Screen

When playing Disbolsting you will be playing as if you where the main character. When playing, you see from the eyes of the character that you chose. You won't just be able to see from there eyes but you will also be able to control the body. On your back you will be able to have a backpack and that is what holds all you inventory that you will be able to see with your eye balls.

Mood Board

In our mood board we have Black Lives Matter signs with fists in the air. We also have buildings on fire to represent all the riots that are going on because of the Black Lives Matter protest. There is also a ton of different flags to represent all the different types of LGBT that you can be. There is also the game title and it is there because we were trying to find fonts and that was somewhat of the style that we were going to go with. There is also a certain section in the United States that is highlighted and that is because that is where the game takes place in somewhere in the south.

Main Character

When playing our game you get to design your own character how you want it to be. The difficulty level of the game depends on the type of character that you design. For example people are more excepting to someone who is gay whereas to if they where transgender. You start young and you grow up as that person and have to deal with the struggles that someone would actually have to go through.

Villain

When playing the game you will be faced with people who don't accept you. They will give you sad points as you play. Like, if they say a negative think to you it will give you a -1 happiness. These people are usually racist or homophobic and they will make you sad or angry.

Setting

Our game takes place somewhere in the south that you can choose. You start as a young child and grow up in a house with very religious parents who are also very strict. The game also take place in the year of 2011 at the age of three. As you are playing the game the settings will vary from place to place. And in some places it will be harder than otheres.

Inventory

To get to the inventory you hit the little book bag and it opens the backpack. That's where you keep all the items you collect while playing. It is where your small things are stored while playing the game.

Skills

In the game you get to choose what skills you have. General skills like going to school and working. Along with that, the player gets to choose what subjects they're good at in school. They also get to customize the hobbies that they want their character to have.
