To access the weekly Vocabulary, go to your Basic English course in Canvas. There is a Vocabulary module that includes a Quizlet. There are flashcards, games, and activities in Quizlet to teach you the words using both text and audio so you can hear the correct way to pronounce the words. There is a quiz every Friday. None of the words are proper nouns. If you take the quiz on a smartphone it will always capitalize your answer, so make sure to change the first letter to lowercase.

Students that score 7 or higher compete in Connect Four. The board has 42 spaces: 7 columns (vertical lines) and 6 rows (horizontal lines). When all 42 spaces are empty, it is the first player's (Red) turn to move. The general strategy is that the first player needs to make an attack in the 3rd or 5th row. The goal is to block the other team from getting four in a row.
