Students Visiting Colleges
Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to visit college campuses as part of the process to determine where to apply when the time comes. Up to two absences per year (11th & 12th grades) due to college visits are excused. Students with arranged college visits must pick up a form in the Counseling Office prior to their college visit, and return the signed form to the office upon return.
We encourage students in all grades to visit college campuses when time allows! If your family happens to be traveling during breaks or on weekends, this could be a great opportunity to visit college campuses along the way. Click HERE for some tips on making the most of a college visit.

Colleges send representatives to Northern High School every fall to meet with small groups of students who have a potential interest in applying. This year we will be hosting in person visits.
Juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. The list of attending colleges is in Naviance. Sign up to attend through your Naviance account, then see Ms. Murray in the counseling office for a pass.
