The Fairport Harbor Opportunity Development Corporation was born from a shared passion for enhancing the village’s downtown floral planters.

What began as a simple community initiative quickly grew into a dedicated effort to support broader beautification projects throughout Fairport Harbor.
FHODC collaborates with residents, businesses, and local leaders to drive growth and connection, reporting to the Village through the Goods, Grants & Welfare Committee to ensure open communication and transparency.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Fairport Harbor Opportunity Development Corporation (FHODC) relies on project-based fundraising and grants to bring community improvements to life.
Each initiative is thoughtfully planned and funded through community donations, sponsorships, and grant opportunities—ensuring every dollar directly supports visible, lasting impact in Fairport Harbor.
Our goal is simple: to reinvest in the village we love, making it stronger, more beautiful, and more sustainable for generations to come.
