The students have been working on comprehension and summaries. We read the Tim Tebow book "This is the Day" and summarized each chapter. At the end of each chapter, there is a question to consider that each student was to meditate on and respond to. Total of 12 chapters, and chapters 7-12 are on this quarter (4th quarter). We completed about a chapter per day. Iowa Basics testing will be this week (April 25-April 29).

The 9th and 10th graders will be studying South America and Central America. We are working on knowing the physical and political maps of this area of the world.

Individual Science Projects

The students are following a 3-part video series on Discipleship from Jared Dodd through Right Now Media. Each week there are chapter notes and heart-probing questions and meditations that they are required to complete. This class is only on Fridays.
