At Fetch Package, everyone who joins our community is required to follow our Community Guidelines. They represent our standards; please take a moment to read them.
As a member of the Fetch Package community, you will encounter people who will not have similar appearances and beliefs. It is your responsibility to generate and maintain a positive experience with every interaction you have. Apply the golden rule and treat fellow users of Fetch Package services as you would like to be treated yourself. You are expected to exercise good judgement and respectful behavior when you are using the Fetch Package services. We believed that everyone should feel welcomed and supported when they use Fetch Package services. Please respect the differences in our community. We have created standards on discrimination, threatening and rude behavior, physical contact, and sexual misconduct.
Discrimination:
At Fetch Package, we do not tolerate behavior that we have determined to be discriminatory. Do not discriminate against someone based on traits such as their age, color, disability, gender identity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under law. It is unacceptable to refuse to provide services, and also to rate another user—whether they’re a customer or driver—based on these traits. You should always feel safe and welcome.
In addition, it is not acceptable to discriminate on the basis of a community member’s location. We understand how important it is to fit work around your life, rather than the other way around. It is not a violation of these guidelines to pass on a job because the job does not work for you—for example, it would interfere with a personal commitment or prior obligation, such as a different job, a doctor’s appointment, a school pick-up, or a family event. But cancelling jobs or refusing jobs for the purpose of avoiding a particular neighborhood due to the characteristics of the people or businesses that are located there violates these guidelines and may cause you to lose access to your account.
Delivery Delays
Our business partners and delivery recipients choose Fetch Package for its quality, reliability, and speed. So, community members who are consistently slow to complete deliveries -- with a significant number of deliveries materially deviating from the ETA for arriving at the business for pickup or arriving at the delivery location for drop-off -- may lose access to their accounts. If you start to approach this threshold in your city, we will reach out to you with a warning and opportunity to improve before removing account access.
Threatening and Rude Behavior:
Aggressive, confrontational, and harassing behavior is not allowed. Don’t use language or make gestures that could be disrespectful, threatening, or inappropriate. It may be a good idea to stay away from personal topics that can potentially be divisive, like religion and political beliefs.
Physical Contact:
When using Fetch Package services, don't touch strangers or anybody that you do not know. Hitting, hurting, or otherwise intending to hurt anyone is never allowed.
Sexual Misconduct:
Privacy and personal space are valued at Fetch Package. While it is okay to talk to other people, sexual assault and sexual misconduct of any kind is prohibited. Sexual assault and misconduct refers to sexual contact or behavior without explicit consent of the other person.
Behaviors and comments that could make people feel uncomfortable are not acceptable. Examples include nudges, whistles, and winks. Don’t touch or flirt with people you don’t know. Additionally, do not make comments regarding appearance, perceived gender identity, personal relationships and sexual orientation.
Fetch Package prioritizes the creation of a safe space for everyone. Your safety motivates our team to uphold these guidelines. Everyone has a role to play in helping to create a safe environment. Understand and embrace your role.
Be Alert:
Being out on the road means doing your part to help keep yourself and others safe. This means keeping your eyes on the road, being well rested, and watching for situations that may require quick action. We review rider and customer reports of potentially unsafe driving behavior.
Proper Maintenance and Upkeep:
Drivers are responsible and expected to maintain their cars with brakes, seat belts, and tires in good operating condition. This means maintaining your car according to industry safety and maintenance standards.
Share the Road:
Safe roadways means practicing safe behavior, which includes looking out for all travelers, regardless of how they get around.
Account Sharing:
Account sharing is not allowed. To use Fetch Package services, you need to register and maintain an active account. Don’t let another person use your account, and never share your personal username and password with anyone else.
Zero Tolerance for Drugs and Alcohol:
Fetch Package does not tolerate the use of drugs or alcohol by community members while delivering.
The account of any community member found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while using the delivering will be permanently removed from Fetch Package services. Fetch Package may also deactivate the account of any community member who receives several unconfirmed complaints of drug or alcohol use.
Firearms Ban:
Fetch Package prohibits community members from carrying firearms in a vehicle while using our services. You can learn more about our firearms prohibition policy below. If you violate Fetch Package’s firearms prohibition policy, you may lose access to Fetch Package services.
Fetch Package Firearms Prohibition Policy:
Our goal is to ensure that everyone in the Fetch Package Community is safe. That's why Fetch Package prohibits community members, from carrying firearms of any kind while using our service (to the extent permitted by applicable law). Anyone who violates this policy may lose access to Fetch Package services.
Background Checks:
All community members using Fetch Package services to make deliveries are required to undergo a screening process, like motor vehicle record and background checks, to ensure safety and compliance with our criteria.
What leads to you losing access to Fetch Package services? We will permanently deactivate a community member’s account if a routine motor vehicle record or background check uncovers a violation of Fetch Package’s safety standards or of other criteria required by local regulators.
We are committed to following applicable laws and earning your trust. We also expect everyone that uses our services to do their part. Adhere to any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations wherever you may be. Our standards are based on applicable laws and regulations that everyone must follow. Using Fetch Package services to commit any crime—such as transporting drugs, money laundering,—or to violate any other law is strictly prohibited.
Licensing and Permitting:
To maintain uninterrupted access to Fetch Package services, all relevant licensing and permitting requirements for drivers must be kept up to date. For example, all drivers using a vehicle are required by law to maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle registration. We review rider and customer reports of collisions or traffic citations that may have happened during a trip or delivery, and other reports that may indicate poor, unsafe, or distracted driving while using Fetch Package services.
Adhere to Local Rules:
Local rules about parking may limit where you can park your vehicle when picking up orders or making deliveries. For example, stopping in bike lanes or blocking accessibility ramps may violate the law. Be mindful of local rules when driving and parking; you can check your city government’s website for applicable laws. Following local rules of the road usually requires you to yield to pedestrians, ride in the direction of traffic, signal if you’re planning to change direction, and come to a complete stop at red lights and stop signs.
