GENERAL INTRODUCTION OF THE SCHOOL
St. Maximilian Education Centre is located in Tanzania, in the city of Dar es Salaam. The school has a total of 323 students and 25 teachers, and it was established in 2008. Within St. Maximilian, there is a Nursery School, a Primary School, and a Secondary School. At St. Maximilian School, we believe that every student can grow both physically and mentally. We live together as one big happy family, supporting one another and working to build a better place and future for our students, encouraging them to dream bigger and achieve their full potential.
THE MAIN BUILDINGS IN OUR SCHOOL ARE
The school has 8 buildings:
1- School Administration block which contains classrooms, headmistress office and academic office and staffs office.
2- School laboratory and library.
4- School dinning.
5- School dormitory girls.
6- School dormitory boys.
7-Multipurpose hall (Basket, exams examination, netball, graduation ceremony, mass, meeting).

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND CURRICULUM
The subjects which we learn at St. maximilian sec. school are history, mathematics, english, computer science, Historia ya tanzania na maadili, chemistry, biology, physics, bible knowledge, Kiswahili, business studies, book keeping, and geography. In our school we also go for physical exercises like football, netball and basketball. A part from these activities we also take important events like graduation ceremony and Maximilian day during the year.
DAILY LIFE AT SCHOOL
The schools starts at 7:50 am and finish at 3:25pm, which takes 10 lessons per day and 40 minutes per lesson. It takes 9 hours per day to study where by 8 hours for studying and 1 hour for either (sports,mass,project and clubs). The break time starts at 9:50am and ends at 10:10am. The lunch time breaks at 12:50 pm to 1:35 pm. The most important school rules are do not fight, do not engage ourselves in love affairs, do not escape from school and do not use abusive language.
