GETTING TO SCHOOL
Martos is a medium-sized city where you can walk anywhere, so the best option for assistants is to rent or share a flat in the city. Rents are affordable and it is not difficult to find flatmates. When it comes to looking for accommodation, any member of the school staff will be pleased to help you.
Living in Jaén, which is a larger city with more accommodation options, could be an alternative, although rental fees will probably be higher. Jaén is about 25 km from Martos, but so you would have to go to school every day by bus - the schedules are shown below:
Besides, there's a car-pooling being currently held at school that you may join; besides, many members of the staff live in Jaén and commute to work, so it is always possible to find someone to give you a lift to school and/or back home.
GETTING IN TOUCH WITH OTHER LANGUAGE AUXILIARIES
