Dear Fenwick Baseball Community,
I am humbled and grateful for the incredible opportunity to be part of and lead the Fenwick Baseball Program. It is with much appreciation that I acknowledge and respect the foundation that was created by the generations of Friar baseball players who came before us—a foundation built on sacrifice, hard work, and unwavering commitment.
The legacy of our alumni has a profound effect on how we approach the game and carry ourselves as representatives of the Friar baseball program. I have a deep-rooted respect for the tradition of excellence that Fenwick represents, and I strive to instill our values in each of our teams and players. Every rep we take, our approach to practices, games, and our academics is a testament to the dedication and passion that has defined Friar baseball throughout the years. It is an honor to build upon this legacy and contribute to our esteemed program's ongoing narrative.
Being entrusted with the responsibility of guiding our players goes beyond the technical aspects of the game. It is about instilling in them the essence of what it means to be a Friar. Our players wear the shield not just as a symbol of our school and team but as a representation of our Friar community bound by our core values. I am committed to teaching them the significance of respect, honor, humility, fortitude, and service—values that extend far beyond the baseball field.
The culture we strive to create is one that transcends wins and losses. It is a culture of character, where being a Friar is more than just a title, it is a way of life. Through every practice, every game, and every challenge, we aim to develop individuals who embody the spirit of Fenwick in every aspect of their lives.
None of this would be possible without the exceptional coaching staff that surrounds me and our players. I am thankful every day to work alongside a team of dedicated, selfless, and humble individuals who share a passion for both the game and the growth of our players. Their tireless efforts in the classroom and on the field serve as an inspiration, pushing me to be my best and ensuring that our students and players receive the guidance they need to truly embrace the essence of being a Friar.
As we look forward to the future of Fenwick baseball, let us continue to honor the past and carry our traditions with humility, passion, and respect. I am grateful for the privilege of being part of our Friar community, and I am excited about the journey ahead. Together, let us continue to build not only well-rounded athletes but also outstanding individuals who will contribute to the legacy of Fenwick in their own unique ways.
Thank you for entrusting me and our coaching staff with this incredible responsibility. Once a Friar, always a Friar.
Strength and Honor,
Coach Kmiecik
