Introduction to the Course:
Integrated Math 3 is designed to extend and apply the math learned in previous courses. Students will go through a sequence of instructional units based on the Common Core Standards for Mathematics. Students will explore new topics involving polynomials, rationals, radicals, trigonometry, and statistics. Students will engage in complex problem solving as well as demonstrate strong mathematical discourse throughout the course.
About me
I grew up in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. In May 2004, I graduated from Grand Canyon University where I earned a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent the first four years of my teaching career in Arizona before moving to California. In August 2008, I started teaching at Vista del Lago High School. This year will be my 22nd year of teaching.
I love to learn and grow in my teaching practices, so I continue to participate in professional development opportunities such as earning my National Board Certification in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Mathematics.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, child, and miniature dachshund.
