QUICK BIO

I was born and raised in Ohio. I attended Wittenberg University (B.A.) and Kent State University (M. Ed.). I made my way down to North Carolina in 2004 after graduating from my Master’s program. I started my School Counseling career in Fayetteville, NC - as a School Counselor in middle school for 3 years. I moved to Raleigh in 2007 - where I worked as a high school counselor for 11 years in Wake County.

The 2023-2024 school year, will be my 6th year at Long Mill Elementary and I hope I can help our amazing students DREAM BIG and have a memorable school experience. Best wishes everyone!

WHAT DO SCHOOL COUNSELORS DO?

I have the joy of working with students through classroom guidance lessons, and individual counseling. I also collaborate with school staff and parents in order to best meet the needs of students.
