Teachers and district staff have access to an array of different platforms and applications that make up our diverse and robust digital learning ecosystem.

What is an Instructional Technology Facilitator?
The Instructional Technology Team is so excited to support you in all of your learning endeavors! What does this mean? ITFs are dedicated to helping teachers and staff integrate technology into their teaching practice to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences for students.
Your Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF) can specifically help you with...
Professional Development: Personalized training sessions, workshops, and webinars to help teachers develop skills and knowledge to use technology effectively in the classroom. For example, we can help you learn how to use Classlink to streamline access to digital resources or how to use Canvas to create interactive assignments and quizzes.
Collaboration: Working with teachers to identify effective ways to integrate technology into lesson plans and create meaningful learning experiences. For instance, we can co-teach with you to model how to effectively use Google Applications for communication and collaboration with your students.
Access to Resources: Providing access to digital tools, apps, and resources to enhance teaching methods and create engaging learning experiences. We can show you how to use Nearpod to create interactive lessons or how to use Flipgrid to engage students in video discussions.
Troubleshooting: Assisting teachers when technical issues arise to minimize disruptions in the classroom. If you experience issues with any technology, such as your projector or document camera, we can assist with troubleshooting.
Staying up-to-date: Keeping teachers informed of the latest trends, emerging technologies, and innovative teaching methods to enhance instructional technology skills. We can provide updates on new features of popular platforms such as Kahoot or Quizlet, or suggest new tools that may help you better achieve your instructional goals.

Classlink is our single sign-on platform! Teachers and students have an account for easy access to a variety of digital tools and reosurces.
Step 4: Setting up my LMS
Canvas is used to keep your digital learning environment organized and easily accessible for students. Your courses are automatically created for you at the beginning of each semester for a quick and easy set up!
