Large Box: This box has a hole in the front of it where you can attach the hasp and lock the box in a number of ways. Most Breakout EDU games revolve around players opening the large Breakout EDU Box.
Often times, facilitators place "We Broke Out" posters in the box in addition to the Breakout EDU Reflection Cards (included with your kit) to extend the academic experience of the game.
When not in use, the Breakout EDU Large Box is a great place to store all your other locks and supplies.
Small Box: This box has a hole in the front of it where you can attach a lock that players need to remove in order to complete one of the game objectives.
Often times, the small box is used to place the UV Flashlight or USB Drive in addition to other game-based clues.
When not in use, the Small Breakout EDU Box is a great place to store some of your items, such as the locks.
UV Pen: Each pen is able to write on paper surfaces with ink that will not show without exposure to UV light from the included UV Flashlight.
UV Flashlight: The UV Flashlight is used to illuminate anything written with the UV Pen.
Red Lens Viewer: This viewer allows you to disguise a clue underneath a pattern. You can create your own Red Lens clue with this template.
USB Drive: The drive is shipped blank and is intended to be used for certain games that allow you to load certain files on the drive and allow the players to use with a computer if one is available.
Hint Cards: These cards get placed out the kit and allow for the players of the game to turn them in for a hint when the truly need it.
Cipher: In order to use the Breakout EDU Cipher, players will need to find the Cipher Key. Now this isn’t a physical key, like the lock key included in the kit. The Cipher Key is the combination of inner ring and outer ring icons that need to line up to unlock the correct translation.
Dice: layers can use use the dice to sort, match, order, or fill in blanks. The dice fit nicely on top of the Breakout EDU Cipher Wheel too, which makes keeping track of them during game time a breeze!
Hasp: The hasp attaches to the Breakout EDU kit and allows you to attach multiple locks to it.
Multilock: The Multilock is a unique type of lock developed by Breakout EDU that allows users to create more flexible combinations with a lock that uses removable and interchangeable wheels.
Each Breakout EDU kit comes with an ABC Multilock and a Directional Multilock. The kit also comes with several wheel expansion packs. The shape, color, and number wheels can be used with the Multilock to create an infinite number of possible combinations.
4-Digit & 3-Digit Lock: The Breakout EDU Kit also comes with one 3-Digit and one 4-Digit lock. These offer endless possibilities for number combination clues.
Keyed Lock: One heavy duty keyed lock is included in the Breakout EDU kit.
