This is the foundational partnership where a teacher in a Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) school teams up with a teacher in a school outside the United States.
The focus is entirely on participating in the GCP activities within their individual classrooms.
Collaboration is virtual, directly between the participating teachers and their students.
All teachers in this partnership follow GCP guidelines and create a collaborative GCP plan using the provided framework.
This more extensive partnership involves at least two Classroom to Classroom Partnerships between an FCPS school and a school in another country.
These individual classroom pairings can involve any teachers, grade levels, and GCP pathway.
A School-to-School partnership will expand the chances for students to engage with diverse cultures and build a more robust relationship between our institutions.
This expansion may offer teachers professional development opportunities, travel (independent of GCP funding), and additional resources to support global learning school-wide.
An FCPS school serves as a central hub, establishing a network of global learning connections through the Global Classroom Project (GCP).
This hub school connects with numerous GCP classrooms and teachers worldwide, fostering collaborative and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Partner schools gain access to diverse global learning opportunities organized and facilitated by the FCPS Hub.
Participation in the GCP Hub Partnership significantly expands partner schools' capacity for international collaboration.
