Frederick County American Job Center
Assists through career exploration, referrals to training programs, resume preparation, workshops, and access to resources to support a job search.
Connects businesses in need of qualified employees with individuals seeking employment opportunities.
Career Center Hours:
Monday – Thursday
9am-4pm, by appointment.
Offering career services both online and in-person.

Literacy Council of Frederick County
Teaches adults reading and other English language skills for native English speakers and English language learners.

FCC offers Adult Basic Education (ABE), Pre-GED, and GED Preparation to Maryland residents who are at least 18 years of age and qualify for the program. The program also offers options for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners.
