Check the Dress Week Notes!
Students who cannot attend a scheduled rehearsal must complete the Conflict & Absence Form based on the reason for their absence.
Known conflicts (such as appointments/trips etc.) must be submitted to the "Conflict" section of the form at least 1 week prior to the scheduled rehearsal date to be considered excused (Eariler is preferred).
If you are ill and cannot make a practice because you are not at school or an emergency has arisen, please complete the "Absence" section of the form. You must upload a parent/doctor note to to count the absence as excused (Reminder: Failure to have a ride home is not considered an excused absence. It is the student's and parent's responsibility to plan for rehearsal dates on the calendar below).
Reminders:
maximum of 4 conflicts accepted to be considered for leadership roles
3 unexcused absences calls for a recasting of your role in the show.
Do not ask Ms. P or Ms. Clugston daily if you have rehearsal. Read the calendar and then consult with the French Scene Chart. A tutorial on this will occur at the New Member Education Workshop.
Mandatory Rehearsals are required by all cast & crew. If you cannot attend a mandatory rehearsal, this may jeopardize your ability to be in the show. Seek out a director if you have questions/concerns about any of the mandatory rehearsals.
Actors: Use the French Scene Chart below to determine if you need to attend a scheduled rehearsal. Rehearsals are called for by scene, NOT by individual actors.
