Audition due! SCHOOLS CLOSED Dance Audition CAST & CREW MEETING Callbacks
When recording your video audition, begin by slating (your full name, grade, and role you wish to be considered for).
Wait a second after your slate to ready yourself and then play your song without guiding vocals (unless you are auditioning for the King). Ensure your song is one of the cuts provided and your microphone is working properly. Click the song titles below to be taken to the audition track.
Be sure to adjust your share settings on your video if uploading from Google Drive. Change "Restricted" to "BHS Staff." If the file size is too large, copy and paste a shareable link onto a blank Google Doc and upload the doc to the file upload section.
Other tips
-Film standing up. We should be able to see from at least your chest & up, but full body is also perfectly okay. Move around to show us your ability to express physically. Those auditioning for the Jester will be required to dance in their video so be sure we can see AND hear you.
-If you mess up, start over and only submit your best take.
-Practice and prepare EARLY. If you run into tech problems and cannot submit your audition because you waited until the last minute, we cannot guarantee you a role. Only those who submit correctly and on time will be considered for roles in this show.
