Class Overview

The HVACR and Plumbing program exposes students to the essential concepts and principles of plumbing, cooling and heating in residential and commercial environments. Students learn the knowledge and skills required to perform the functions of plumbers and HVACR technician. In addition to learning about HVACR and plumbing trades, this program offers an introduction to safety practices, tools and equipment and the responsibilities of a person working in the construction industry. The HVACR and Plumbing program is designed to prepare individuals for employment as an entry-level plumbing and HVACR apprentices. Further employment and study in the plumbing career field may possibly lead to a licensed journey plumber.
