Welcome to the Construction Trades Program at the Career and Technology Center. We offer nationally certified apprenticeships in Carpentry, Electricity, HVAC, Landscaping and Plumbing. In addition, trades students receive OSHA10 certification, Rough Terrain Certification, Aerial Lift Certification and the opportunity for up to 6 college credits at FCC in construction management.

To provide a real-world experience all trades students work together to build a house project and apply the crafts they are learning in class. Construction takes place over 2 years and proceeds from the house sale are used to purchase a new lot and materials for the next house. We have been building houses with students since 1978 and have been funded entirely from a non-profit established for the sole purpose of providing a construction experience for our trades students.
