Tool List & Uniform

Students are encouraged to invest approximately $150-$200 in the following hand tools and personal safety items to be used in the program. For students and parents who are concerned about the ability to provide these items because of financial constraints, please contact the instructor regarding options:

  • Tape Measure – 1” x 30’ - (Stanley - $14.97 to $24.97)
  • 16oz Straight Claw Hammer - (Estwing - $20.97)
  • Cats Paw - ($11.00)
  • Swanson 7” Speed Square - ($8.97)
  • Non-Folding Utility Knife with Quick Release Blade Change - ($8.97 to $12.97)

Transport EMPTY to School

  • DeWalt Aluminum Chalk Box - ($6.97)
  • Separate Leather Belt - ($9.97)
  • 2 Tool/Nail Pouches - ($15 to $20/each)
  • Separate Hammer Loop - ($3.96)
  • Separate Tape Measure Holder - ($8.99)

In addition to the above tools, students will need to purchase the following uniform items:

  • Leather Work Boots - ($24 and up)
  • Two Carpentry Program Uniform Shirts (Long Sleeve - $14 or Short Sleeve - $13)
  • Work Pants - ($15 and up)
  • Hard Hat ($8 purchased during the 1st week of school)
