Tech Crew

****IMPORTANT PLEASE READ FIRST****

Thank you for applying to be part of the crew for the 2024 spring musical! Every time that a show is cast, difficult decisions have to be made. We are so lucky to work with such incredibly kind & talented people on a daily basis. Crew leadership positions were decisions were based off of the following factors: 

Ability to follow directions (submitting all materials on time and correctly)

Schedules & availability

Leadership on/off the stage & professionalism

All other applicants for the tech crew have been accepted to the general technical crew and specific assignments will be given as soon as we get to know your work ethic and find which crew you will excel at. We will train you for whtever crew you are assigned to. 

Please keep in mind the following as well:

• If you do not get your 1st choice crew position, please don’t give up! We want all of you to shine in this show by using your strengths to grow as artists and performers.

• It's not what you do, it's how you did it. Consider this before dropping the show if you disagree with our decisions. Your reputation speaks volumes & will affect future casting decisions.

• Support one another and do not steal someone else’s joy. NO BUCKET DIPPERS! 

• Please refrain from posting negative comments about any individuals associated with the show on social media or to other students/staff. Word travels fast to the directors, so be careful what you say/send. The contract explicitly states that bullying and gossip will not be tolerated.

• Please respectfully refrain from reaching out to Miss Peterson or Miss Clugston about cast/crew decisions for at least 24 hours.

All crew must attend the first rehearsal after school on Thursday January 18th & participate in a "table read." Attendance will indicate acceptance of your role so it is imperitive all cast and crew attend. The first official crew rehearsal will be Tuesday January 23rd to receive basic training.
