Important Information
This is where you are going to find important updates from the 2nd Grade Team. Weekly assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. These assignments will change weekly. Along with the required assignments, you will find additional resources, a variety of websites, and optional extension activities from other BES staff members.

Many staff members will be calling and checking in with families several times a week. This is a quick 3-5 minute phone call where teachers can speak with students, or families about any questions or concerns you may have. Feel free to always contact your child’s teacher at any time if a question or concern may arise. Your teacher will respond to your question as soon as they can. Please be aware that staff members may be calling from their personal cell phones. Please know these numbers will be used for outgoing calls only. If you need to contact your child’s teacher please use the FCPS email listed above or Remind or Class Dojo, depending on which platform your teacher uses. You can also post questions on our 2nd Grade Q & A Document. Assignments will be posted in your child’s google classroom on Monday. Please have all assignments completed and turned in by Sunday at 8:00 am. If your child is working in the print packets, please send a picture of the completed assignments. You can send the pictures through Remind, Class Dojo, or email. Please condense the assignments to submit as few pictures as possible.
