Volunteers!

Volunteers are a vital part of school functions. There are some jobs that need to be done on a regular and consistent basis... and others that come up once or twice a year. Please watch the Railroader Express Newsletters for Volunteer Opportunities.

If you are interested in volunteering in any way this year at BES, please take time to complete the online Volunteer Training. This is the same training needed to attend field trips, help out in a classroom or attend school-based events during the school day. Get ahead of the curve and complete your 2024-2025 School Year Training anytime after July 15th, 2024.

Important Note:

***Volunteer Training is required to be completed each school year. Unlike a calendar year, a school year runs July through June. For example, if you completed the training in May for Spring Field Trip, it is no longer valid now.***

FCPS utilizes the FCPS Volunteer Center. This management system features the ability to self-serve for volunteer opportunities in our schools. To begin, you must complete the registration and training as required in our policies.

If you are an existing volunteer in our Volunteer Center, please access your account here: Sign into your account. Please note that if you have volunteered for FCPS previously, you can use your previous credentials to apply. All past volunteers must reapply.

*You will not be eligible to be selected as a volunteer or chaperone until your yearly Volunteer Training is complete and approved by our Central Office.*
