Dr Samia Rehman Dogar

Welcome to my website! I'm Dr. Samia Rehman Dogar, and it has been an incredible privilege to serve as a distinguished faculty member at FCE, a renowned public institution, for over 25 years. Throughout my tenure, I have held various pivotal roles, ranging from classroom teacher to dean of Academics. With a rich and diverse background as a Professor, Civil Servant, and Educational Administrator, I bring a wealth of experience to the table.

During my illustrious career spanning 25 years, I have made substantial contributions to the field of education. I have had the opportunity to work as a writer for the National Science Curriculum, a designer of STEM curricula, and a creator of educational policies. Additionally, I have engaged in strategic planning, assessment, and Item Analysis. Notably, I have also played the role of Dissertation Chair/Advisor/Evaluator for over 200 research projects of undergraduate students at the B.S./Ed, M.Ed., and M.Phil. levels.

As a testament to my expertise, I proudly serve as a member of the review board for nationally and internationally recognized, peer-reviewed academic journals, and online forums. I am the former Director-General of the Pakistan Manpower Institute (http://pmi.gov.pk/) and

 In my current capacities, I hold an esteemed position as Director of the Federal College of Education, H-9, Islamabad, Pakistan (www.fce.edu.pk), both under the auspices of the Government of Pakistan. I have also spearheaded numerous projects centered around teacher training and institutional development.

To further enhance my knowledge and leadership abilities, I was honored to be a former fellow at the prestigious Kennedy School in Cambridge, USA, where I pursued studies in Leadership. This prestigious fellowship is awarded to individuals who possess exceptional academic credentials and demonstrate great potential to contribute to the betterment of their country. Complementing my educational achievements, I hold an M.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, MA, and a Ph.D. from Northeastern University in Boston, USA.

Beyond my professional accomplishments, I find fulfillment in exploring my passions outside academia. I am a polyglot, proficient in four languages, and I also indulge in thrilling pursuits such as skydiving and the culinary arts.
