Bombas Socks: You've heard of Bombas Socks where one pair of socks purchased equals one pair of socks donated. We are one of their many Giving Partners! Once a year we receive a donation of socks that get distributed throughout the community.
Transparent Closet: This is a new ministry at FCC Puyallup. Learn more about it here.
New Hope Meals: Once a month we provide a home cooked meal for the New Hope Resource Center guests.
Open and Affirming: We offer a number of events throughout the year that affirm and celebrate being an O&A church.
Weekend Meals: We provide meals for Aylen Junior High students to take home over the weekend.
Community Events:
Mr. Rogers Day: March 20th is the birthday of Fred Rogers, we celebrate his good work and the lessons he taught about being a good neighbor by doing just that-- being a good neighbor!
Tie-Dye Party: It is exactly what you think it is! All are welcome to come and tie-dye and party as we kick off the summer. This event is usually in June.
Free Garage Sale: That is exactally what it is! Everyone brings their stuff from home that needs to go and people can get it for free! This event happens in July/August.
Halloween Block Party: free and fun for the whole neighborhood. Every year on Halloween.
Book Club: 2nd Tuesday of the Month at 2:00 pm (at rotating homes).
Bible Study: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Next one start starts March 12 and will focus on the upcoming Sunday sermon scripture.
Congregational Events: Times of fellowship and fun throughout the year.
Happy Hour: Usually the last Thursday of the month 4:00pm and 6:00pm. We rotate local bars and breweries for a time of fellowship.
Learning Circle: Sunday at 9:00 am adult, open discussion group. (Taking a break for summer).
Out to Lunch Bunch: A quarterly lunch after worship.
Way of the Child: A special time of worship for children during the service. Children are invited to start worship with their family and then can move to their sacred space in the sanctuary.
Worship: Each season of worship all are invited to help with the planning and leading of the service.
Green Team: The Green Team works to make sure we prioritize caring for the earth through practices and advocacy.
Fair Parking: Each year we are fortunate to be able to park cars during the Washington State Fair. Make sure to come and park with us and know that this fundraiser helps support our ministries and 10% goes to various local, regional, and global organizations.
