Updates from Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School
In a little over 2 weeks we will welcome all of our Huskies to the 2024-2025 school year. This is a time of great excitement for our students, teachers, parents and staff members. One of the most frequently asked questions these days is when will student schedules be available? Schedules should go live in PowerSchool on August 13th. Reminder, this week is a tax-free weekend. Check out the school supplies list below and purchase this weekend to save a few dollars.
Are you planning to visit campus for any reason next week? If so, please be aware of work being done on Mustang Alley. One lane of Mustang Alley will be closed from 9:30am to 2:30pm, for 2-5 days. Your best bet is to enter the parking lot off of Route 7/Leesburg Pike.
Read below for more information about open house, new to FCCPS orientation, parking, student drop-off, supplies, summer reading lists and more.
Registration and Vaccination Reminders
We have been busy notifying families of students who have not completed their annual registration (re-enrollment) and/or not completed the 7th grade mandatory vaccinations. If you received a message, we ask that you promptly attend to these matters. It helps us plan for the school. Thank you!
