Whew! How are we already finished 2 weeks of school?! It seems like yesterday my kids were coming home and telling me about their new teachers and the excitement of their days, the friends they were seeing again, and what made that so great. Somehow, we’re already to the “Fine” stage of asking how the day went. It’s amazing how fast that goes, right?
Now that we’re two weeks in, students are really back into their routines, and the campus is starting to have a “lived-in” feel to it. This is great, and as it should be.
From a middle school perspective, we want to thank the many, many families that came out for Back to School Night last night! It was so great to see and speak with you all! From the high school perspective, we are looking forward to an amazing Back to School Night on 9/5/24.
We hope you all get some rest, and enjoy the long weekend! We can’t wait to see everyone on Tuesday!
With love,
Peter and Steve
The Bike Bus is starting back up on September 6th. For those of you new to FCCPS or the Secondary Campus, the bike bus is an organized route to school for bike riders that runs every Friday. Find the closest “stop” by your home and hop on.
The Falls Church Education Foundation (FCEF) was created in 2004 to raise, manage and distribute supplemental funds to enhance the educational experience of Falls Church City Public School (FCCPS) students. Money raised by the FCEF has helped fund teacher projects and educational materials that benefits the students. You can help support th FCEF by participating in the Run for the Schools or the Little City Scramble.
