Dr. Farid Malik's poem on Kashmir

Dr Farid Ahmed Malik, our honorable professor at FCCU, have strong strings attached with Kashmir therefore he himself wrote a poem 'Kashmir' in 1990 in which he expressed his wish for the Kashmiris to stand for their rights and make a step forward to get themselves free from the repressors.

Session 3

An initiative by IAS as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance global citizenship. Through a strong belief that the pen is mightier than the sword, students and faculty at FCC penned their views on the Kashmir issue to raise awareness for the plight of Kashmiris. With Likho Kashmir, we hope to take another step forward to create positive change in the world around us.

Documentary Screening

Session 2

In this session, International Affairs Society screened documentaries and short films highlighting the constant torture and torment that the Kashmiris have been going through since ages now. The purpose behind this is to make people aware of the situation and evoke them to stand in the support of Kashmiris.

Students enthusiastically took part in the first discussion on 'Kashmir Talks' Dr. Farid Malik was our guest and he enlightened the audience with informative history and also the present situations of Kashmir. There was a fruitful interactive session between the audience and the guest, as well.
